Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 2026 — Inco IG is built to know as little about you as possible.
1. What we collect
Inco IG is designed around data minimalism. When you search for a username, we store the searched public username along with an anonymous hit counter to power public 'trending' statistics. We do not link searches to your identity, account, or any persistent personal identifier.
If you contact us or submit a profile-removal request, we store the name, email address and message you provide so we can respond and process your request.
2. What we never collect
We never ask for your Instagram credentials. We never require registration. We do not build behavioral advertising profiles, and we do not sell, rent or share personal data with data brokers.
3. Cookies and analytics
Inco IG uses privacy-respecting, aggregate-only traffic measurement without cross-site tracking cookies. No advertising trackers or third-party behavioral pixels are embedded in the viewer experience.
4. Third-party content
Media displayed through the viewer is publicly available Instagram content served for preview purposes. Instagram and Meta have no relationship with Inco IG and do not receive any data about your visit from us.
5. Data retention
Anonymous search counters are kept indefinitely in aggregate form. Contact messages and removal requests are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted. Backups roll over on encrypted storage within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected] with the subject 'Privacy request' and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised 'last updated' date.
