Instagram Story Saver: Download Stories Before They Disappear

Instagram stories carry some of the platform's most useful content: limited-time discount codes, event lineups, apartment listings, restaurant menus, gym schedules. After 24 hours they're gone from public view unless the owner adds them to a highlight — so having a save habit pays off.

Open the Inco IG story viewer, enter the username, and tap the story you want. In the full-screen player, press the Download button — the photo or video frame saves to your device in full resolution, with no watermark and no daily limit.

This also works for every slide inside saved highlights, which is the easiest way to archive an account's best long-term content.

Screenshots work, but they're lower quality, include your UI chrome, and — inside DMs with view-once media — can trigger a notification. Saving through a viewer produces the original-resolution file with none of the screenshot anxiety.

Saved content still belongs to its creator. Keep downloads for personal reference — republishing someone's photo or video as your own is both rude and a copyright violation in most jurisdictions.
